About RB Home

RB Home is a small online shop of things for the home: olive wood boards, clay for slow cooking, traditionally woven tablecloths, wicker baskets, natural pillows, cotton and linen towels. We are based in El Campello, on the coast of Alicante, and we ship across mainland Spain and the Balearic Islands.

We are not trying to sell you everything. We keep a small range, chosen one piece at a time, so finding what you need takes minutes rather than an afternoon.

How we choose

Choosing between forty almost identical things is the worst part of shopping for your home. So we do it for you. Before a piece goes into the shop it has to pass four checks:

  • Well made. Wood cut from the trunk, clay fired the old way, fabrics that survive the wash. If it can't take daily use, it doesn't go in.
  • From here. We work with workshops and brands in Spain, many of them small, that make or choose each piece with care.
  • Made to be used. Nothing that stays in the box. Each piece has a clear place in the kitchen, dining room, bedroom or bathroom.
  • Few and good. One good option beats ten average ones. On every page we tell you why that piece won.

How your order reaches you

We don't have our own warehouse. When you order, each piece is prepared and sent directly by the workshop or brand that makes it, from Spain.

  • Delivery takes 3 to 12 working days.
  • Shipping costs €4.95 and is free from €60. You pay one shipping charge even if the order arrives in several parcels.
  • You get the tracking number by email when each parcel is sent.
  • Some pieces are made to order; in that case the lead time is shown on their page.

What protects you

  • 14 days to change your mind, no reason needed, from the day your order arrives.
  • A 3-year legal guarantee if something is faulty or not as described. For the first two years the fault is presumed to have been there at delivery: you don't have to prove anything.

What we don't do

  • We don't sell pieces we haven't checked.
  • We don't promise delivery times we can't keep.
  • We don't use countdown timers, fake stock counters or "27 people are viewing this". If a piece suits you, it will still suit you tomorrow.

Prices and VAT

All prices include VAT. Because we ship within Spain, there are no customs or surprise charges on delivery: the total you see at checkout is the total.

If something isn't right

Write to us. A real person reads every message, and we reply within 1–2 working days. If a piece arrives damaged, faulty or isn't what you expected, we'll sort it out.
