The questions worth answering
Delivery, returns and tax, stated the same way here as on every product page.
Short answers to what people ask us most. If yours isn't here, write to hola@rb-home.store: a real person reads every message and we reply within 1–2 working days.
Orders and payment
Where do you ship?
To mainland Spain and the Balearic Islands. For now we don't ship to the Canary Islands, Ceuta, Melilla or outside Spain.
Is VAT included?
Yes. All prices include VAT. Because we ship within Spain, there are no customs or extra charges on delivery.
When is the contract concluded?
The confirmation email tells you we've received your order. The contract is concluded when we send you the shipping email. If we can't accept an order (a piece has sold out, we can't reach the address or there's a pricing error), we'll tell you and refund everything.
Can I change or cancel my order after placing it?
Write to us as soon as possible. If the workshop hasn't prepared the parcel yet, we can usually change the address or cancel it. If it has already left, you can cancel within 14 days of receiving it: see Returns.
Is payment secure?
Yes. Payment is handled by our payment provider over an encrypted connection. We never receive or store your full card number.
Shipping
How much is shipping?
€4.95 per order, and free from €60. You pay one shipping charge even if your order arrives in several parcels.
When will my order arrive?
Within 3 to 12 working days of ordering, preparation included. The Balearic Islands can take a few days longer. Made-to-order pieces show their own lead time on their page.
Why is it arriving in several parcels?
Because we don't have our own warehouse: each piece is sent directly by the workshop or brand that makes it. If your order includes pieces from several workshops, they arrive separately and on different days, at no extra cost. Your 14 days to change your mind run from the day you receive the last parcel.
Is it tracked?
Yes. When each parcel is sent we email you the tracking number.
My order is late. What do I do?
Write to us with your order number and we'll check with the workshop and the carrier. If we haven't delivered within 30 days of the contract, you can give us a reasonable additional period and, if we still don't deliver, cancel for a full refund.
My parcel arrived damaged.
Write to us with your order number and photos of the piece and the parcel. We'll send another or refund you, and we pay for the return.
Returns and guarantee
What if I don't like it?
You have 14 days from receiving your order to change your mind, no reason needed. Write to us and we'll explain the steps.
How do I return something?
Write to us first with your order number. We'll give you the address of the workshop the piece goes back to; please don't send anything before you have it. Then you have 14 days to send it.
Who pays for the return?
If you changed your mind, you do. If the piece is faulty, arrived damaged, doesn't match the description or we sent the wrong one, we do.
When do I get my refund?
Within 14 days at most of telling us. We refund the price and standard shipping, to the same payment method and at no cost. We may wait until we receive the piece or proof of posting.
Something broke after a few weeks. Am I too late?
No. You have a 3-year legal guarantee from delivery. For the first two years the fault is presumed to have been there already, so you don't have to prove it. You're entitled to repair or replacement free of charge and, if that's not possible, a price reduction or a refund. Write to us with your order number and photos.
What doesn't the guarantee cover?
Knocks, misuse, not following the care instructions and normal wear. With antique or handmade pieces, the marks and variations described on their page are part of the piece.
Is there anything I can't return?
Pieces made to your measurements or personalised have no right of withdrawal; we say so on their page. This never affects the guarantee if the piece is faulty.
The pieces
How do you choose what you sell?
We look for well-made pieces from workshops and brands in Spain, made to be used every day. We keep the range small on purpose, and on every page we tell you why that piece won.
Who makes the pieces?
Workshops and brands in Spain, many of them small: olive wood, clay, ceramics, wicker, traditional textiles, natural pillows and steel accessories. They prepare and send each piece; we're responsible for your order.
Will the colour match the photo?
Very closely, but screens vary. Handmade or antique pieces differ slightly from one another. If an exact shade or measurement matters, ask us first.
Can I ask about a piece before buying?
Of course. Dimensions, materials, care or whether it fits your space: write to us. If we don't know, we'll check with the people who make it.
Privacy
What do you do with my data?
We use it to process and deliver your order, handle returns and meet our accounting obligations. We only share it with those who need it: the store platform, the payment provider, the workshop that prepares your piece and the carrier. We don't sell it. See our Privacy Policy.
How do I get my data deleted?
Write to hola@rb-home.store. We reply within one month. Some records, such as orders and invoices, we're legally required to keep for a period.
Contact
Can I talk to someone?
Write to hola@rb-home.store and a real person will reply, usually within 1–2 working days.
Can I send returns to your address?
Please don't: it's only our legal address. Write to us and we'll tell you where to send your piece.
